Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Master’s level or grandfathered in advanced practice registered nursing scope; prefer women’s health practitioner. 2. Basic HIV testing/counseling training is preferred. 3. Evidence of fulfillment of continuing education requirements for licensure and certification maintenance. 4. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position. Certifications / Licenses: 1. Current Kansas license to practice as an APRN/PA as defined by K.A.R. 60-11-101 through 108 and any added amendments thereafter. 2. CPR certification.
Job Purpose and Objectives: Promote wellness and provide treatment as a certified APRN/PA. Perform women's health examinations. Collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of this care. Organize and update protocols in collaboration with the designated medical consultant.
