Requirements: • Must meet state age requirements. • Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License for equipment being operated. • Ability to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 165lbs. • Ability to safely operate job related equipment (i.e., hand truck, electric pallet jack, and other mechanical equipment) • Manually lift open and pull closed truck doors (lift / pull up to 50 lbs.) • Manually lift full cases of beer on a regular basis with weights of 20 to 40 lbs. • Manually lift / pull / push full kegs of beer with weights of 161 to 165 lbs. • Bending, stooping, twisting, and stretching motions required throughout shift. • Climb up and down from the cab and body of truck as required during shift. • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking (up and down stairs), and lifting throughout shift.
Primary Purpose and Function of Position: • Deliver and rotate City Beverage distributed products in retail accounts. Typical Duties / Responsibilities: • Drive commercial delivery trucks and or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver products. • Responsible for daily operation of $175,000 in equipment. • Complete and accurately turn in all company paperwork, invoices, load sheets, and cash/checks within appropriate time frames. • Pre and post trip inspections. • Ensure accurate completion of all Department of Transportation checklists and report any and all maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner. • Comply with all City Beverage policies as they pertain to position. • Adhere to all company Safety regulations and all Federal/State/Company/D.O.T. requirements. • Responsible for knowing, understanding and abiding by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages. • Demonstrate City Beverage’s Mission and Vision in all responsibilities. • Represent City Beverage in a professional and courteous manner.
