Qualifications:

• Successful candidates should have attained an Associate’s Degree (AA or AS) from a two-year college or technical school. Four-year engineering technology degree preferred. Experience with boilers and combustion equipment a plus. • Proficiency with AutoCAD • Must be able to operate office equipment including personal computer; word processing software and spreadsheets, fax machines, copy machines, telephones • Must be able to organize and prioritize work • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form • Must be accurate with numbers and reports

Responsibilities:

• Compiles and analyzes information from customers to design and prepare net pricing contracts to meet the customer’s individual equipment needs. • Reads and analyzes product specifications, prepares quotations that match specification requirements based on knowledge of material and labor costs and manufacturing schedules and processes either independently or with the assistance of personnel from other departments. • Responds to customer inquiries by phone, fax, in person, or e-mail concerning, but not limited to, project status, pricing, product order changes, product application and other general information. • Complies, analyzes and controls stocking account inventories where applicable, prints weekly reports as needed and directs the release and replacement of stock units. • Educate customers on existing products and new products. • Calculate all necessary adds & select all necessary SBW price book adds & enter into the computer quoting system. Include list of clarifications and exceptions on proposal to then be forwarded to the Inside Sales Manager for approval. • Communicate with distributors on how to use price book and other sales related topics. • Do quotation follow-ups to check on status of projects.
