CTE Signing Day 2021 - Celebrating Career & Technical Education Training

On May 6th, 2021 Greater Hutch, Hutchinson Community College, and Hutchinson Career & Technical Education academy will partner to recognize students choosing a technical career training pathway.  Limited sponsorship opportunities are available for industry partners including recognition on the Signing Day t-shirts given to signees, as well as booth space for the event.  Contact Lacie Janzen at laciej@hutchchamber.com for sponsorship information.

Just as we value athletes who commit to play a college sport, the signing day ceremony is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and emphasize the importance of their career choice.  On the day of the event, high school students, parents, instructors, administration, counselors, industry partners, potential employers, local and government officials and the local media will celebrate this special day.  Students join their peers to commit to their future technical program pathway to sign a Letter of Commitment to their pathway of choice.  They are committing to attending that school once they have completed their high school career.
