Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. – or – Some college with one of the following: One (1) year of supervisory experience – or - Minimum (2) years experience in residential youth care facility. Must be at least 21 years of age. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position. Certifications / Licenses: Possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.
Job Purpose and Objectives: Train, guide and supervise Youth Care Staff/Juvenile Correctional Officers to ensure the health and safety of all youth placed in the Youth Services facility. Ensure compliance with all department and county policies and procedures.
