Position Overview: Manufacturing Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day operating of production processes in all of the manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor strives to keep the production lines running smoothly and works with team members to facilitate production targets. They do this by directly participating in production tasks and working shoulder to shoulder with their teammates to lead by example in achieving related goals, advancements, positive change efforts, and targets. They also ensure quality standards are met at all times and all production documentation is accurate and submitted in a timeline fashion. Job Responsibilities: Act as a positive representative for Erosion Control Blanket. (ECB) Be a strong member of ECB’s TEAM Any other duties assigned by Managers pertaining to special projects. Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance and mitigation of downtime Attend weekly with peer Supervisors and quarterly meetings with Drivers. Motivating your team and holding them and yourself accountable Producing management reports on performance Maintaining quality standards of products and workplace Identifying and organizing training needs. Accomplish manufacturing staff results by following the core values in being bold in facing issues and maintain job accountabilities. This includes but is not limited to planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when required; initiating, coordinating, and upholding systems, policies, and procedures. Coordinates the development of Production employees with Production Manager. Maintains work flow by monitoring manufacturing processes and observing control points and equipment. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and coaching personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Resolves personnel problems with Production Manager and HR investigating issues, identifying solutions, recommending, and implementing actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
