Purpose of the program

The purpose of the E-Community Loan Program is to encourage entrepreneurial small business development and retention in Hutchinson and Reno county.  Qualifying entrepreneurial projects include startup businesses, existing business purchases, or existing businesses desiring to invest in expansion.

Use of Funds

Loans can be used for startup costs, expansion of an existing business, working capital, building renovations, and inventory.

Guidelines:

• Low-interest loan with maximum amount of $45,000
• Must be used by a for-profit business
• E-Community funding cannot exceed 60% of the total funding package
