Position Requirements: High school diploma, Vo-Tech or G.E.D. Shall be a US citizen or Non-US citizen that must be able to perform the work in or for the United States. Shall be at least 18 years of age. Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a named-based record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJIS-sensitive information. Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint-based check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered. Certifications / Licenses: Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.
Job Purpose and Objectives: Assist in maintaining county buildings by completing various facility maintenance and miscellaneous tasks in support of the Maintenance Department. Grounds keeping tasks may be a large portion of assigned duties during the growing season.
