Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Certifications / Licenses: Must be admitted to the Bar of the State of Kansas. Eligible to practice law before the Courts of the State of Kansas and the Federal District Court for the District of Kansas.
Job Purpose and Objectives: Provides legal counsel to the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, county department directors, county staff, the Reno County Public Building Commission, and the Reno County Planning Commission. The Counselor will be an in-house employee of Reno County. To provide advice and direction to the Board of County Commissioners in all areas of county government, as needed, and requested by the Board of County Commissioners.
