Civil Engineering Technician I, II, or III

Civil Engineering Technician I - $16.28 - $21.88 hourly Position Requirements: Minimum level high school graduate or have an equivalent general educational development certificate (GED) with strong math classes. Certifications / Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position. Civil Engineering Technician II - $17.50 - $23.52 hourly Position Requirements: Minimum level high school graduate or have an equivalent general educational development certificate (GED) with strong math classes. Certifications / Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid Kansas Class B CDL. Must have obtained Basic Inspection, Asphalt Inspection, Concrete Inspection, and Structures Inspection Certifications. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position. Civil Engineering Technician III - $18.44 - $24.79 hourly Position Requirements: Minimum level high school graduate or have an equivalent general educational development certificate (GED) with strong math classes. One (1) year experience preferred in a related field in Auto CAD/GIS. KDOT Civil Engineering Technician Certifications for LPA Project Inspections required. Certifications / Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid Kansas Class B CDL. Must possess the following certifications: Basic Inspection, Asphalt Inspection, Concrete Inspection, Structures Inspection, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1. KDOT Construction Storm Water (SWPPP) is preferred.
