Must be 21 years of age. High school diploma or G.E.D. Knowledge of proper use of kitchen equipment and utensils, experience in proper kitchen terminology and some cooking experience
Job Objectives: Assist in preparation of lunch and dinner meals for resident youth. Essential Job Functions: Communicate and work as a team in a professional, respectful, positive and constructive manner. Regular attendance and good punctuality essential. Assist in preparation of meals, train youth in kitchen duties, teach youth responsibilities when working in the kitchen, instruct youth in meal preparation, stress safety to youth while working in the kitchen and monitor the youth’s behavior while working in the kitchen and maintain appropriate behavior. Clean kitchen, oven, grill and fryer. Prepare list of supplies needed.
